Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility: Lead complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 1 day per week. Position required to appear in person at the location listed.

Required Qualifications :

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software engineering role.

Specific skills required:

  • Four (4) years of application development experience

  • Four (4) years of Java and JMS (Java Message Service) experience

  • Four (4) years of Multi-Threading Experience

  • Four (4) years of database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB

  • Four (4) years of trading systems development or implementation experience

  • Four (4) years of experience working with derivatives and securities products in any of the following areas: technology, finance, regulatory reporting, risk, middle office or operations

  • Three (3) years of Agile experience

  • Three (3) years of Spring framework experience such as Spring Boot

  • Two (2) years of Cloud experience on PCF;

  • Two (2) years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server), GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Blackduck; and

  • Two (2) years of stream API development
