Actalent Supplier Quality Engineer (Associate's Level) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description:

Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products in accordance with contract and corporate specifications Follow company’s inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials in the US. Prepare and maintain quality records and inspection reports. Investigate and document the root cause of non-conformances. Conduct problem solving and resolution, collaborating with vendors, engineering, project management, and customers. Develop, implement, apply and/or witness NDT techniques and procedures. Apply knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering methodologies and NDT methods for input to design reviews, failure analysis, quality program plans and construction documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Associate Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 5+ years of experience in the hydropower industry preferred OR experience in an industrial construction or manufacturing environment. CWI or possess the education and experience required to qualify for certification and a working knowledge of ASME and AWS Codes. NDT/NDE related technical experience
