Citigroup Automation Senior Business Analyst in Chennai, India

The Automation Senior Business Analyst role is part of Global Identity & Access Management Organization within Citi, which is a division of the bigger Chief Information Security Office. The job is to liaise between various technical teams and operations to implement automated solutions related to Citi's internal Identity and Access Management Services. Key responsibilities also include developing a line of sight on the automation service management processes by looking at historic trends, analyzing root causes and working with the appropriate stakeholder group for resolution.

Main roles of Automation Senior Business Analyst:

  • Coordination of new automation projects with our partner teams and stakeholders - end to end from case selection until implementation.

  • Creation of automation project schedules based on resource availabilities (both budget and labor), key milestones, forecast implementation, risks, dates, and benefits.

  • Analysis of current automation solutions, understand changing business needs and propose strategies for the enhancement and migration to new automation framework.

  • Periodically review automation portfolio and perform continuous improvement activities with partner teams based on identified root causes.

  • Assisting operations teams on establishing an automation culture into the day-to-day routine.

  • Coordination of execution of all automation maintenance, enhancement, and bug fixes; create, maintain, and assure the quality for automation related documentations.

  • Ensuring the availability of technical resources that are prerequisites for above activities.

  • Finding ways to overcome testing and implementation challenges to improve sustainability of operation.

  • Being responsible for creation of project artifacts as defined by PMO requirements and related policies to meet the defined requirements.

  • Cooperation with developers and tech teams to design conceptual architecture, technical solutions.

  • Identification, documentation, and understanding of project dependencies, identification of key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition.

  • Reporting status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis.

  • Communication to all stakeholders on a timely basis and in clear, succinct manner.

  • Maintain weekly and monthly operating reports.

  • Ensuring all the necessary sign offs are obtained before moving applications, systems to production.

Ideal background

  • Fluent English knowledge.

  • Bachelor's or University degree.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT or related field.

  • Experience as Project Analyst or Business Analyst.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Advantages :

  • Experience in Project Management and automation projects.

  • Understanding of enterprise Service Management principles and configuration management.

  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner level.

  • Project management (PMP, Prince2, CSM) or CISSP certification.

  • Understanding or experience with smart automation solutions (Automation Anywhere, Workfusion, Oracle Identity Manager & Identity IQ etc.).
