Chapco, Inc Assembler in Chester, Connecticut

Located in Chester, CT, Chapco, Inc has been a valuable and reliable partner in providing Sheet Metal Manufacturing Services, Assembly, as well as Product Development and Engineering Services since 1964. Now led by a fun-loving serial entrepreneur, Chapco continues to strengthen our core business by adding various product lines; Denlar Hoods and Fastcorp Vending. We're looking for full-time, part-time, and temporary/seasonal assembly technicians to join our team!
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Assembly could range from small electronics to larger machined components.
- Use of hand, power or machine tools.
- Follow detailed parts lists, assembly instructions and templates to assemble Chapco product from start to finish.
- Perform pre-assembly tasks such as soldering, wiring, folding, etc. when applicable.
- Use test equipment, as provided, to assure quality output. Follow department policy when unacceptable part is found.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to use manual and/or power hand tools.
- Stooping, Bending, Lifting, Sitting, Walking
- Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
