BWAY Fleet Coordinator - 1350-3669 in Chicago, Illinois

1.Process (Accept/Decline) tenders sent from CTSI within 60 mins. Coordinate with CT for order assignment

2.Assign/route orders within area to maximize on-time delivery and minimize deadhead miles, using available assets

Coordinate across regions to optimize HOS while fulfilling orders

3.Monitor Driver ELD usage in OmniTracs & send daily report to Safety team

4.Track attendance of drivers on appropriate document/program

5.Ensure orders are completed/closed out (via OmniTracs) by the driver

6.Ensure Drivers provide paperwork to Plant Operations (PODs, DRs, Empty Container Forms)

7.Ensure drivers appropriately add Value Added Services on their routes via tablet

8.Ensure Pre-trip Inspections are appropriately completed by Drivers

9.Ensure License Plates and Registrations are installed on trailers prior to departure.

10.Effectively manage email communication, ensuring emails are responded to within 2 hours (Area Fleet & Direct mailboxes)

11.Communicate IB Order demand & prioritization with Plant Operations; Escalate aging pickups over (10) days

12.Communicate service disruptions to Cust Svc, Plant Operations, and the Control Tower

13.Aid in providing Driver and Equipment updates (permits, documents, etc.) as directed by Corporate Safety

14.Aid in conducting accident investigations, drug & alcohol testing and follow up medical assistance, as events arise

15.Serve as Area Fleet Manager backup when AFM is out of office or not available

16.Assist in updating DoS file spreadsheets (Area Summary info)

17.Escalate Driver, Equipment, or Safety issues to AFM and Private Fleet Leadership as needed

High school diploma or GED required

Shipping and logistics experience strongly preferred
