Description

As the HR Director, you will have a pivotal role in fostering a healthy workplace culture, high-performing staff, and compliance with labor laws. Furthermore, you will develop and implement HR strategies that are in alignment with the objectives of the business and maintain a positive work environment within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy
Design and manage comprehensive HR policies and procedures
Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and labor relations
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state human resource requirements
Nurture an inclusive and sustainable high-performance culture
Manage the performance review and appraisal systems
Develop and manage the HR department's budget
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Director
Proven work experience within the union space
Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
Familiarity with the industry's legal aspects in terms of employment and labor laws.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding organizational and people management skills.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus
