Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Chicago, Illinois
Looking for qualified Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to perform the following job duties:
Mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment (Boilers, Blast Furnaces, Cranes, forging Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Pumps, Gearboxes, Mobile Equipment, etc.
Need to be well versed with power transmission knowledge
Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Perform MIG and STICK welding, cutting, and fabrication work
Ability to read blueprints for repairs
Use of hand and power tools for repairs
Teardown and rebuilds of equipment
Regular preventative maintenance on all machinery
Repair or replace belts, bearings, chains, shafts, sprockets, cylinders, and gearboxes
Greasing, oiling, and lubrication of parts and equipment
Direct Hire with good benefits
Shifts (Must be open to at least 2 out of 3 shifts)
1st shift: 6am-2:30pm
2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
3rd shift 10:00pm-6:30am
Must be available to work overtime, up to 55 hours per week, 5-7 days per week
Anything after 8 hours daily is 1.5X
Saturdays are automatically 1.5X
Sundays are automatically 2.0X
Quarterly production incentive bonuses paid out between 2%-8%
