Our client is a contract development, manufacturing, and packaging company with a focus on semi-solid, cream, liquid, and alcohol products. Located in Chicago, IL
Pay : $18-$20/hr
Type : Contract to hire
Schedule : M-F 1 st shift (8a-4:30p)
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related science
0-2 years of laboratory experience, either undergraduate or industry experience
Be able to learn HPLC, GC, IR, UV, pH meter, Viscometer, Lab Balance.
Understand cGMP & SOPs as related to quality control.
Perform basic lab testing and packaging In-Line checks.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all raw materials and finished products are compliant with documented specifications and procedures though testing.
Works closely with Quality Assurance and Production personnel to ensure a quality product is being assembled as per documented procedures.
Accountable for the inspection, testing, and release of all raw materials, in-process materials, and testing of all finished products per documented specifications and procedures.
Accountable for release testing for all shipments.
Work with Management to improve product quality and assembly execution.
Assist with recording and testing customer complaints.
File daily paperwork and assist in maintaining all quality records.
