Position Responsibilities
IT Outsourcer Service Management:
Oversees IT Outsourcer service management, including incident management, problem management, issue escalation, and change management.
Provides guidance to IT Outsourcer for application administration, development, configuration, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Tracks and influences IT Outsourcer service performance and escalations.
Proactively communicates the status of IT efforts and incidents to key business stakeholders.
Business Requirements Elicitation:
Works with Sr. System Analysts and Product Owners to create workflows and diagrams for applications.
Collaborates with the Product Owner, Sr. System Analyst, and Architect to elicit and write business & system requirements, including functional specification documents.
Solution Design:
Helps design, build, and test applications.
Assists in producing basic design documents and translates them into component-level designs.
Contributes to the development of technical documentation and participates in test-plan development, integration, and deployment.
Application Support:
Provides maintenance support for applications.
Assists with the resolution of incidents and break-fix tickets.
Helps with the build and deployment of small enhancements.
Continuous Delivery and Agile Practices:
Engages in Program Increment (PI) planning and preparation, sprint planning, product demos, and other Continuous Delivery ceremonies.
Participates in daily standups and verifies that business and technical requirements are fulfilled during the project delivery process.
Collaborates with the product owner and scrum master in identifying obstacles, risks, or other potential issues with the success of sprints or PI Plans.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required (Computer Science, MIS, or other degrees) or equivalent on the job experience
2+ years in Information Technology or relevant experience
Basic understanding of architecture concepts and methodologies.
Basic working knowledge of SAP application platforms and their application
Basic understanding of infrastructure platforms and their application
Ability to define and lead a simple project plan.
Experience working with an outsourced vendor
Extensive experience in data engineering/data modeling or data science in Databricks, Snowflake, SAP BW, SAP HANA, SQL Server, or equivalent.
Basic coding knowledge of one or more language; for example, python, C#, .net, javascript, or ABAP
Experience working within and developing inside an SAP enterprise infrastructure including documenting dependencies, coordination with Basis to review and deploy transports across Development, Quality, and Production environments.
Working knowledge of SAP S4 environments including CRM, BW, TMA, and HANA.
Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
