Responsible for the Gourmet business sector, responsible for the identification of the GM Sales strategy, delivery of volume and financial business objectives, marketing and day to day man-management.

Key responsibilities include:

● Realize a set of agreed budgeted volume and profit objectives yearly

● Develop a viable business plan able to deliver a range of volume, margins, and profits objectives

● Remain fully aware of competitor and market changes

● Provide a rigorous and unified sales and marketing strategy directed to the realization of the business plan

● Provide ongoing analysis of performance against budgeted objectives

● Make appropriate proposals for future strategy, resources and plans- e.g. New Academy and Direct Sales

● Commission and implement the Business and marketing plans.

● Manage external marketing agencies

● Effective control of all marketing expenditures within budgeted plans

● Harmonization of local initiatives with broader global marketing activity.

● Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activity

● Creation of an over-riding Sales strategy and its application to Account specific objectives

● Direct and Indirect man management responsibility sales team via PMDP, Sales meeting and Review procedures

● Support at major meetings with key customers

● Ensure utilization of resources within key KPIs and Budgets and optimization of Commercial Benefits

● Plan and properly utilize facility and people

● Ensure link to other aspects of business

About you:

● Masters in Economics/Business/Food Engineering is nice to have

● Proven track record in commercial foodservice chain account mgmt

● 10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, R&D

● Strong Segment insight (market, consumer, customer, retail) is a must.

● English (full proficiency). Any other European language is a plus.

● Travel 50% of the time (around US)
