Responsibilities
As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting both office and field staff by processing incoming data and producing final deliverables for land surveying projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will utilize cutting-edge technology in the A/E/C industry to perform technical tasks. Your contributions will enhance the efficiency of land survey projects and boost client satisfaction by:
- Processing data utilizing SAM standards, including the evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, all while ensuring compliance to applicable land survey project and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor
- Monitoring field crew's production and quality assurance
- Carrying out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
- Coordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met
Qualifications
- Relevant previous experience required
- Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus
- Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
