Job Description :
Indorama Integrated Oxides & Derivatives is currently looking for a Regional I&E Excellence Engineer to provide electrical and instrumentation technical guidance and support to all sites within IOD. Assist sites as needed on I&E related failures, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.
What will be expected from you?
With supervision:
Provide technical guidance to all IOD sites on electrical and instrumentation related matters.
Support all IOD sites with I&E related failures, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.
Work with IOD procurement group on I&E initiatives.
Support site efforts to continually improve the long-term equipment availability and performance of electrical and instrument assets.
Provide support and consultation for problem analysis, risk assessment, root cause analysis, etc. for equipment failures where the failure root cause is not well understood.
Provide capital investment and expense project ideas based on engineering analysis and feedback from operations and other site personnel.
Assist other employees in accomplishments of company goals.
Lead and/or provide team support for incident investigations for high impact or high potential impact incidents as assigned.
Follow instructions and perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
High school diploma or equivalent required. BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 10 years relevant maintenance/engineering experience in a process industry such as petrochemical plant, chemical plant, or refinery required.
Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card.
Must have a level of proficiency with internet, email, and Microsoft programs.
SAP or similar CMMS experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
Individuals must be action oriented and have good problem-solving skills in order to make timely and effective decisions.
Individual must be able to adequately plan and prioritize his/her work processes to effectively meet customer expectations and resolve conflicts within a timely manner.
