Honeywell Inspector - Level 2 (1st shift) in Clearwater, Florida

As an Inspector Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for conducting inspections to verify that products meet the required standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence. Your meticulous inspections will help identify any defects or non-conformities, allowing for timely corrective actions to be taken. By maintaining accurate records and documentation, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality management system.

Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday; Starting time 7:30am/8:00am

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving and final inspections in Clearwater Cabin Management Systems (CMS) on all incoming materials and finished products to ensure product quality and compliance with standards and specifications.

  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inspections.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

  • Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.

US Person Requirement

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection role.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.

• SAP experience

• Microsoft Outlook and Teams experience

WE VALUE

• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements

• Nonconformance/QN generation

• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in quality control inspection field

• Good analytical and creative problem-solving team skills

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.

• Proactively and clearly communicate important, comprehensive, and specific information that others need.
