Honeywell Sr. Advanced IC Technology Engineer (HYBRID) in Clearwater, Florida
Join the engineering team at Honeywell in Plymouth, MN, where you will be responsible for developing and characterizing wafer process technologies for integrated circuit products used in space systems. You will work closely with hardware and circuit design engineers, mask layout designers, process module engineers, and testing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and characterization of CMOS wafer process technology
Design solutions to meet IC product needs
Use TCAD tools to design transistors
Develop and deploy test methods for technology development
Collaborate with wafer fab engineering and yield team engineers
Establish and maintain technologies to support business plans
Characterize radiation effects on devices
Prepare documentation
Mentor junior engineers and provide work direction to engineering technicians
Tools We Use:
Synopsys TCAD transistor design and simulation tools
JMP statistical analysis software
Device lab characterization tools
Cadence PDK and Siemens-EDA Calibre physical verification
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
5 years of wafer process technology development and characterization experience
Ability to work on-site at the Honeywell Plymouth, MN facility
USG Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one

In-depth knowledge of transistor device physics
In-depth knowledge of transistor wear out mechanisms
Knowledge of wafer process control monitor or kerf structure design and measurement
Knowledge of radiation effects on CMOS technology devices
Experience in TCAD-based device design
Experience in technology test chip design
Knowledge of statistically designed experiments and regression methods
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
