The IT Director, Agile Team Delivery Management will be focused on coaching aspects of the accelerating enterprise-wide business agility, embodying a lean-agile mindset, coaching flow, leading the change, implementing the framework. Sherwin-Williams future success in achieving Enterprise Business Agility requires agile teams to improve team and technical agility. The enterprise ability to thrive in the digital age is entirely dependent on the ability of its team to deliver solutions that reliably meet customer needs. Team and technical agility competency play a critical piece within the journey of business agility. This role is critical in influencing the leaders to build a truly cross-functional teams that are long living and stable teams. This role mentors, leads and be a hands-on-coach of the Scrum Master Managers and Scrum Masters who plays the role of a team coach. Champion and promote the business outcomes, need, urgency, and vision for Lean-Agile ways of working which lead to enterprise business agility at team level Lead the enterprise to implement team and technical agility where applicable Lead, develop and coach the enterprise to move from the current project mindset to product mindset and coach delivery leaders on the formation of cross-functional product teams that are long living and stable Create agile transformation roadmap in active collaboration with the Director, Agile Product Coaching Actively socialize the team level transformation roadmap thru roadshows to leaders and incorporate improvement opportunities throughout the team transformation journey Show visibility of the transformation roadmap inside a single source of truth (JIRA) -following the same process as we coach our internal team and it's leaders Coach and drive coaching engagements within Digital Technology at the team level Coach Digital technology business partners to identify, champion, and train Scrum Masters (Team Coaches) and help achieve business outcomes through lean-agile processes Develop and drive the safe use of health checks and maturity models to measure progress and pinpoint areas of continuous improvement within team that are engaged in the agile ways of working journey Develop, coach, and implement metrics to optimize agile team delivery and measure business agility in terms of predictability, quality, and adaptability at team level Champion Lean-Agile Communities of Practice (CoP's) for Scrum Master Develop training roadmap and conduct Agile 101 training supporting Scrum, Kanban and/or TDD workflows at team level Management of team level coaching work happens inside JIRA (provide visibility & transparency) Deliver enterprise-wide standards for agile ways of working and the associated processes Mentor, coach senior managers and managers of scrum masters Bring in the best industry practices in the agile ways of working and actively collaborate with agile product coaches to deliver customer value covering both business and IT Champion SM CoP and leadership CoP Formal Education: Required: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience. Preferred: SAFe Program Consultants (SPC) (or needs to be within first 90 days) Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) a plus Knowledge and Experience: Required: 12+ years IT or business experience 8+ years of experience managing direct reports 8+ years of experience in program management 8+ years of experience in portfolio management Strong understanding of product development
