POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Director, Creative Services will lead a team of graphic designers, content managers, videographers/photographers and project managers across projects that support the Performance Coatings Group. This position is responsible for guiding the strategy, supporting the implementation of communication programs and establishing best practices that drive strategic initiatives across the group. This role will bring a mix of creative marketing expertise and business understanding to promote continued business growth. The position will need a blend of creative vision and business sense to lead direct and matrixed teams on initiatives. The Marketing Director will be an experienced manager, a natural collaborator, an innovative thinker and a dynamic supporter of growth. This position will have 4 direct reports. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS * Marketing Communications Management o Lead and develop the Creative Services team consisting of Graphic Designers, Content Managers, Videographers/Photographers and Project Managers in the strategic development of creative deliverables to support the PCG businesses that are on brand and deliver results. o Stewardship of the Performance Coatings Group and corporate brands through the maintenance and update of comprehensive style and content guides, working across the PCG organization to champion compliance in consistency, tone and visuals. o Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale initiatives, connecting strategy, digital and brand design and compelling content. o Collaborate with the Divisions in developing marketing communications that translate objectives into successful activations that support strategic initiatives. Analyzing results and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. o Define best practices and align with business marketing leaders to elevate our marketing practices across multi-media content creation, content management and digital channels. o Engage the Division marketing leads to ensure creative services are exceeding expectations across projects and programs while demonstrating the value to the business. o Continue to build the capabilities and resources of the team to meet the current and future demands of the organization. o Prioritize resources based on short and long-term strategic needs. o Serve as a key member of the marketing team, interfacing daily with marketing teams, leadership and cross-functional teams. o Support the implementation of marketing excellence practices across the team to introduce new ways of working and deliver efficiencies in creative practices to drive greater value and results. * Annual Sales Meeting o Ensure leadership and project management to successfully implement the annual Performance Coatings Group sales meeting. o Lead all elements of the annual Performance Coatings Sales Meeting, supporting the 8 Divisions/Groups across roughly 3,000 attendees. o Responsibilities include: * Lead the strategy and planning for the overall event in coordination with enterprise partners. * Develop the overall agenda for the event and coordinate with each Division. * Lead the planning for attendee registration across the organization. * Guide the programming and production needs for 8 general sessions and awards ceremonies. * Oversee contract negotiations and budget management. * Organize needs across PCG and the divisions for on-site space allocation, entertainment, travel, accommodations, and meals. * Support all email and on-site signage communication needs for the Sales Meeting event. * Support the vendor Market Place activities. * Oversee additional activities across PCG as needed for a successful event. o Additional event responsibilities as needed * Talent Development o Support the development of individuals' knowledge, skills and abilities to build a high-performance
