Insight Global Food Service Supervisor in Cocoa, Florida
Job Description
A client in hospitality and food service is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to join their team support the Food Service Manager. In this team, there is a pull system where all the food is stored in the facility for 3 days worth & all food is brought in, weighed out, portioned and stored on the shelves, fridge, freezer or pantry and & it is the responsibility of the Food Service Supervisor to ensure this is being done correctly. In this role, the supervisor will help with food inventory, placing truck orders for deliveries, tasked to do inspections of the kitchen to ensure food safety regulations comply and oversee all the workers are completing their duties on time and with a sense of urgency. In this role, candidates can advance over time, as they are being directly trained constantly by the food service manager & have the ability to make a difference in the workplace and community.

Skills and Requirements
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- 1-2 years experience in food service
- High School GED
- Willingness to work in a county jail & positive/compassionate attitude - ServSafe certification null
