Description

Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join a well-established organization located close to downtown Colorado Springs. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, one of your primary responsibilities would be to oversee the credit granting process. The Accounts Receivable Manager would be managing receivables in the range of $7M to $10M, aiming to optimize the balance between company sales and bad debt loss. Among the general duties to be performed are the development and maintenance of a credit policy, and its consistent application across all operations. The ideal candidate will be tasked with granting credit within authorized limits, managing collections, and applying cash accounting principles. The role also involves undertaking periodic credit reviews of existing customers, assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, and keeping abreast of all credit-related laws. Furthermore, the candidate should have the capability to manage the credit department effectively. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related field within the Retail industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, including but not limited to, Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions

• Demonstrated experience in managing Cash Activity and Collection Processes

• Proven ability to Approve Credit and handle Credit - Collections

• Strong knowledge of Credit - Commercial, Credit Analysis, Credit Granting, and setting Credit Limit

• Experience in issuing Credit Memo and defining Credit Terms

• Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising a team

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
