Position Overview
Infinity is searching for a Capture Manager to join our Business Development Team. This individual will be essential for identifying and qualifying leads to continually grow the pipeline with high-quality opportunities that help accomplish our companies strategic objectives. You will also be leading capture activities, including developing and executing effective capture plans following established internal gates and using standard tools and processes, emphasizing win strategies – themes, value propositions, teaming, etc.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the cradle-to-grave lifecycle for opportunities from lead identification through proposal submittal; occasionally managing the proposal itself
Responsible for leading USSF strategic engagements with SSC, SDA, SpOC, SpRCO, and AFRL and shaping growth strategies to enhance the probability of win (pWin)
Works closely with Solutions Architect and Business Development to translate requirements into robust win strategy, carefully tested and validated, and advances strategy to management and technical design with strong value proposition and differentiated bid elements based on compelling features and benefits
Identifies gaps and develops strategies to overcome weaknesses and mitigate risks; develops discriminators and differentiators
Conducts and participates in gate, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews; leads and documents lessons learned
Participates in the development of teaming strategies and assists in negotiating teaming agreements and strategic alliances
Interact with the Director of Innovation, Product Line Manager(s), and Principal Investigators to develop highly competitive offers for technology development opportunities, taking advantage of the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program
Prepare and lead the review of RFIs, white papers, ROMs, and cost reviews
Manage budgets for projects within assigned pursuits
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
Communicate clearly with senior and executive management and with key federal customers
Must be able to learn and to speak fluently to Infinity’s capabilities and technical differentiators
Other new business acquisition-related activities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of DoD-related capture management experience
10+ years of DoD-related technical and project management experience
Demonstrated understanding of the Federal procurement/acquisition process
Experience with USAF/USSF acquisitions
Strong presentation and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Title 50 acquisitions is a plus
Education/Experience
A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirement
Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred
