Ascending To Health Respite Care EMT/MA - Patient Navigator in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Primary Care office and medical recuperative care project seeks energetic and outgoing EMT or Medical Assistant to provide clinical and social support for unhoused patients through Street Medicine visits, clinic-based visits, and home visits. ATHRC's Street Medicine team consists of a multidisciplinary team of the provider and a Patient Navigator, with other support as available. This team visits encampments that are accessed by bicycle up to three half days per week and may ride up to 15 miles in a given day.
Our Patient Navigators support the medical provider in primary care visits and work directly with patients in our acute medical recuperative program. The ideal candidate enjoys mountain biking and cycling; is flexible, resourceful, and compassionate; and is comfortable working as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Full time, hourly position, 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. $19.00 - $21.00/hour
Paid time off and 6 paid holidays per year.
