Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Columbia City. Our facility specializes in the supply of wire and cable products, specifically Magnet Wire, which is an insulated copper or aluminum conductor used by major original equipment manufacturers and distributors. Magnet wire is utilized in industrial motors, transformers and generators, automotive applications, electrical coils and controls, and appliances, as well as in motor and transformer repair. In this role, you will work on winding machines, cutting machines, and potentially on the furnace that melts the wire down. You will also be responsible for Facilities Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain winding machines, cutting machines, and furnaces.
Perform Facilities Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct welding and fabricating tasks as needed.
Interpret and work from blueprints.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Essential Skills
3+ years of Millwright
Welding Experience
Electrical knowledge
Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience
Troubleshooting Experience
Possess own tooling

Work Environment
The work environment can be hot but is well-lit and very clean for a metalworking facility. The position is for the night shift (7 pm - 7 am) on a 2-2-3 schedule. Start at $26, after 3 months raise to $29.90. This is a Union facility with a pay raise coming this year that will bring pay up to low $30's.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
