Rohde & Schwarz Financial Business Analyst in Columbia, Maryland
Tasks: -Prepare data analysis, management reporting and analytics for regional review with corporate management team - Monitor and maintain internal reporting to support business segments involving personnel and profit/loss statement - Create and maintain a KPI dashboard to report status of business performance and profitability to support North American division leadership - Routinely complete project profitability and margin review against budget while forecasting cost to complete, presenting solutions for areas of deviation - Support the calculation of labor rates for completing commercial and government RFQs (United States and Canada) differentiating between direct and indirect labor characterizations - Maintaining labor rates and cost assessment matrix in SAP for United States and Canadian cost center allocations and cost of goods sold development - Monitor and forecast renumeration revenue from parent company - Maintain North American pricelist in conjunction with parent company and comparing with market conditions - Review, report and provide variance explanations to business operation managers for cost center expenses - Special projects, initiatives and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BBA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with ERP and labor tracking systems (SAP and Deltek are a plus)
- 3+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience
- Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
- Must be an advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) user
- Must be a strong communicator with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of audiences
- Flexible to work non-traditional hours, overtime, weekends and travel as necessary
- Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics
- Ability to listen, negotiate, guide and facilitate
- Ability to work independently providing financial expertise to operational units
