General Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will interpret engineering drawings to understand the specifications for each job, inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, and troubleshoot any issues with the machines or production process.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines including setup and running to produce precision parts.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand job specifications.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Identify and resolve issues with machines or the production process.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience, specifically with CNC operating in high volume settings.

  • Experience with CNC machine operation, including mills and lathes.

  • Ability to perform visual inspection and quality control.

  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with changeovers and machine setup.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Work Environment

This position is within a manufacturing environment, which can be hot during the summer months due to the furnaces.

Available shifts include 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
