Job Description:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst collaborates with business partners across multiple units to align technology solutions with business strategies. This role provides advanced technical and consultative support to team members, ensuring operational efficiencies, risk reduction, and improved end-user experiences. Key responsibilities include building relationships with business partners, understanding complex business processes, capturing requirements, and facilitating solution design and integration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with business partners leveraging ServiceNow, advocating for their needs, and maintaining platform standards and governance.
Develop a deep understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors, identifying opportunities for technical solutions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements, owning the documentation of business processes and data requirements.
Partner with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered effectively.
Facilitate scope discovery and design sessions, aligning IT resources and processes with client needs.
Build roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of related experience.
Hybrid workplace position requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with the ServiceNow platform.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Experience in a Business Analyst role, including artifact creation, requirements elicitation, and process flow production.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
Demonstrated technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
Skills:
