CAS is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner, Technical Manager on our HR team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This position provides business and HR leadership to the assigned division(s) as an integral part of the management team to facilitate change and provide direction to achieve desired business outcomes. This senior position is accountable for providing HR leadership to assure the division meets operational objectives through human resources. As a partner with the management team, the HR Business Partner has a solid understanding of the business and anticipates the needs of the organization and leadership. The HR Business Partner is the direct contact for staff in the division to provide guidance and identify trends to promote retention and staff engagement. The HR Business Partner collaborates to ensure the organization builds world class people resources through a variety of talent initiatives. The HR Business Partner is responsible for preparing our leaders of the future and working with management to coach, train and develop. The HR Business Partner manages special projects and initiatives supporting the organization and continuous improvement. Position Accountabilities: Lead and set direction all levels of management on Human Resources strategy and initiatives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation strategy and implementation, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, training and development, strategic planning and design, human resources communications, change management and others. This will include other human resources unit level support for learning and development, change management, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits. Partner with division management to support business objectives. Anticipate and understand division needs and collaborate with division to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness. Participate in the development and execution of business strategies as it relates to people matters, which support the division objectives. Participates in the strategic planning and facilitating processes to help define the direction of the division and suggest alternatives for proper organizational effectiveness. Partner with staff in the organization to understand and anticipate the needs and interests of staff. Identify trends and work with staff and management to respond to issues. Address staff concerns, provide guidance, and facilitate appropriate direction, considering overall employee engagement, and retention. Manage design of human resource strategies and programs in support of division business needs. Develop and report meaningful metrics to support the business, as appropriate. Formulate short and long-range strategies to ensure effective management of human resources initiatives and utilization for the assigned division.
