Description We are offering an opportunity for an Applications Architect in the telecom industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. The role revolves around ensuring cloud offerings are following defined governance processes, standards, and control requirements. This position involves providing risk support and control design implementation, aiding in the transition to hybrid cloud computing platforms, and building compliant cloud governance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies associated with Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure alignment with the organization’s overall security objective and business goals.

• Define the IAM framework policies and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Define, assess, and partner to implement access control policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the provisioning and de-provisioning of user and non-user access rights.

• Ensure compliance with access control standards such as least privilege, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SOD).

• Ensure IAM practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

• Partner and participate in IAM-related audits, assessments, and findings.

• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of IAM controls, processes, and technologies to identify areas of improvement.

• Ensure that appropriate control designs are sustainable and not susceptible to test or production failure.

• Work with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, to ensure the security of applications and data.

• Collaborate with business partners to assess and develop cloud strategies, information security/cybersecurity, and IT risk management programs against regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Azure

• Extensive knowledge of Cloud Technologies

• Background in Computer Sciences

• Expertise in Design, Production, and Security of applications

• Ability to Implement Strategies and Best Practices towards application architecture

• Familiarity with Audit procedures, Policy development and Compliance Functions

• Experience in Risk Management and Governance in the context of application architecture

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Written Communication abilities

• Understanding of the Financial Services sector

• Ability to work effectively with Business Partners

• Familiarity with Cyber Security methods and practices

• Experience in ensuring Compliance with company and industry standards

• Proficiency in providing Workstation Support
