Robert Half HR Generalist in Commerce, California

Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team based in Commerce, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and entails a variety of HR administrative work. The HR Generalist will be responsible for handling disciplinary notices, employee relations, and employee investigations, among other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering disciplinary notices and maintaining a harmonious work environment

• Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface or are brought to your attention

• Manage employee investigations and ensure they are handled in a timely and appropriate manner

• Utilize HRMS tools such as Dayforce/Ceridian to manage and organize HR administrative work

• Display a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information

• Manage leave of absence requests and processes

• Contribute to compensation administration and benefit functions to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance

• Conduct investigations when necessary to handle employee disputes or misconduct

• Handle compliance-related tasks to ensure the company is up-to-date with all HR-related regulations

• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode skills to effectively manage and organize HR tasks.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, and Dayforce

• Strong understanding of employee relations and investigations

• Knowledge of Leave of Absence processes

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Understanding of compliance regulations in HR

• Proficiency in the Ceridian Payroll System

• Ability to conduct investigations when necessary Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist or similar role

• Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time systems

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations

• Experience with Ceridian Payroll System and Dayforce

• Ability to Conduct Investigations and manage Leave of Absence

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
