Steel Storage Systems Production Assembler in COMMERCE CITY, Colorado

Wage: 23.00 per hour

Job Summary: In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. This role will be responsible for assembling parts and components according to the company's production standards. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent attention to detail.

Reports to: This position reports to Plant Operations Manager.

General Responsibilities: Assemble parts and components according to guidelines set by the company Ensure that all assembly is carried out in a safe and efficient manner Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment needed Crating and unloading of product. Follow all safety protocols and procedures Monitor the quality of assembled parts and components Notify team members of any parts or components that are not up to quality standards Ensure that all parts and components are correctly labeled Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company policies and procedures Other Duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' assembling experience in heavy manufacturing/warehouse environment. Crane and forklift experience highly preferred. General metal assembly experience highly preferred. Mechanical aptitude and basic hand/power tool experience Significant mechanical skills and proven attention to detail Ability to read and interpret drawings and designs Familiarity with safety standards and PPE. Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period of time Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must have U.S. work authorization.

Material and Equipment Directly Used: Steel-toed boots and safety equipment as assigned by the production manager. Forklifts, manlifts, and overhead cranes.

Working Environment: Works in manufacturing settings Lifts min. 75# moderately, 20-50# frequently. Twists, stoops, and bends frequently. Walks, stands, reaches, and works at shoulder level or overhead frequently.
