As a General Laborer, you will support various facility tasks including general labor, equipment operation, and plant maintenance! *Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)* The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Support Daily Operations: Assist the plant foreperson with daily operations and maintenance.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and expertly handle heavy machinery such as Frontend Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, and Off Road Dump Trucks.
• Hands-On Tasks: Engage in a variety of tasks such as shoveling, equipment maintenance, and general labor.
• Willingness to Learn: Desire to learn and assist with welding and fabrication duties as needed.
• Safety First: Identify and address safety hazards and equipment malfunctions swiftly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the foreperson and crew, following OSHA and MSHA safety regulations.

Other Requirements:

• Union Membership: Must join local 18 IUOE within 30 days of employment.
• Professional Attitude: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor towards coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
• Flexibility: Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
• Punctuality: Arrive on time and ready to start work at the designated time.
• Team Player: Work well in a team environment, assisting others as needed.

*Qualifications* Education: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical abilities. Problem-Solving: Use common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
