As an Information Technology Specialist at Lutron, you will participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality solutions within IT to support various areas of operation throughout the business.

 

There are a variety of technologies and concepts within this role that you could encounter from day one, such as:

  • * Software as a service platforms
  • * Software development methodologies such as Agile
  • * Understanding best practices and QA for SaaS
  • * Platform integrations using APIs, webservices, and enterprise integration tools
  • * An understanding of authorization and authentication controls

Responsibilities

 

  • * Work with the Technology Lead on the various platforms to drive convergence and execute implementation
  • * Manage and prioritize all phases of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality
  • * Develop and improve your skills in multiple IT disciplines
  • * Devise and implement new IT processes for continuous improvement
  • * Deliver IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic
  • * Collaborate with team members using strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

 

 

  • * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree in the IT field
  • * Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 for each degree earned
  • * 0-3 years experience in a related field
