Robert Half HR Generalist in Corona, California
Description
This role will report to the HR Director and provide comprehensive HR support to multiple business units across various locations. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist experience, with excellent collaboration skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of human resources, including employee data management, job descriptions, performance management, and employee leave processes (STD/LTD, FMLA).
Partner with Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, and Safety teams.
Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity.
Create, run, and distribute standard and customized reports.
Develop and maintain standard templates and presentation materials to enhance efficiency.
Manage departmental office supplies and coordinate with the purchasing department.
Occasionally schedule and maintain calendars for meetings, and coordinate arrangements for conferences, meetings, and special events.
Qualifications:
Advanced PC skills with proficiency in Spreadsheets and Presentations.
Proficiency with Google Suite is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulatory and procedural requirements.
Solid understanding of labor law, organizational development, and HRIS systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
Strong ability to interface, negotiate, and influence at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Labor Unions and Union Avoidance activities preferred.
Demonstrated attention to detail, planning, organization, and time management skills.
PHR/SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
