Responsibilities You will ensure work of all employees assigned is completed accurately and timely, and engage in performing a full scope and range of functions to ensure the needs of the operational command and departments where work is performed. You will provide technical oversight, develop performance plans, evaluate work performance of subordinates, and assign ratings of record. You will plan, direct, and coordinate all aviation customer service support programs to ensure mission success. You will advise and assist in aviation administrative and operational management support activities. You will provide advice and recommendations to the Squadron CO, XO, Department Heads (DH), and Civilian’s assigned on the effectiveness of administrative policies, procedures, and regulations. You will ensure the various functions and tasks are covered and completed by assigned civilian personnel. You will assist and advise the military assigned Administrative Officer (AO) and Program Operation Support Assistants (POSA) per governing instruction of all active duty military Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) actions. You will serve as the Squadron Defense Travel Administrator, perform the daily, weekly, monthly reporting/auditing and oversight of accurate travel processing, timely submission of claims and accurate execute of funds per governing directions. You will serve as Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC), maintaining, advising, and assisting all personnel assigned to the command with GTCC account usage and compliance. You will serve as Personnel Security Assistant for the Command, responsible for identifying security issues, reporting actions required, and maintaining current command requirements per governing instructions. You will ensure the planning and directing of supply management, compliance with the organization and validation of purchases. You will monitor, direct and manage the daily, weekly and monthly supply tasking, purchases and validation of stock supply and inventory management, procurement, storage issue, and disposal within the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and overseeing administrative procedures and guidelines to supplement established administrative regulations or program guidance that contributes to the efficiency of an administrative support activity. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. The major study of such education is in public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled; or Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
