CITY OF CORTEZ Seasonal Parks Worker l in CORTEZ, Colorado
POSITION: Seasonal Parks Worker l
DUTIES: Mows, weeds, cultivates, plants, sprays, removes trash and fertilizes all landscaped areas. Operates small and heavy equipment and performs skilled and unskilled. Assists in the construction of new park facilities. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions. Knowledge of the standards required for the preparation and maintenance of parks and ground facilities. Knowledge of planting and maintenance of turf and related areas. Ability and skill in operating light motorized equipment (eg. mowers, weed whips, edgers, etc.).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possess a valid Colorado driver's license. Be at least 18 years of age.
WAGE: $14.42
SHIFTS: May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when assigned.
JOB LOCATION: Cortez, CO
BENEFITS: Sick leave, vacation and holiday pay.
