Actalent Quality Control Chemist in Covington, Kentucky

Job Title: Quality Control ChemistJob Description

As a Quality Control Chemist, you will operate in the Quality department, handling a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the highest standards of our products. Your daily responsibilities will include running various wet lab and analytical lab equipment to perform finished good testing. This includes analyzing melting points, color, titrations, flash points, viscosity, and utilizing High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Collaboration with the production team is key to maintain quality standards, and you will actively troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues that arise, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Covington, Kentucky.

Work Environment

You will work in a quality lab within the production facility, segmented into three specialized rooms. Your schedule will be the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, starting from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with flexibility to start as late as 7:00 am and work until 3:00 pm. Overtime is rare but may be required occasionally on Saturdays if there are significant delays in production.
