This Position is for a Technical Application Project Manager with a bank location in Covington, LA.
Summary: The Technical Application Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects for all BankPlus Operations teams. The position will help ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. The Technical Application Project Manager will assist with the tracking of all critical systems open case logs and meet routinely with operations staff to review and update within Smartsheet.
Duties and Responsibilities include: Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects. Track deadlines to report progress on deliverables. Assist with the research and evaluation of hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for software implementations which are a high risk for customer impact. Responsible for communication with BankPlus employees concerning problems, concerns, implementation, etc. Monitor project progress and maintain quality standards through the project lifecycle. Report to management identified risks to project implementations and provide planned mitigation strategies. Assist all Operations teams with various initiatives which may be unrelated to specific project management. Meet with operations team leads on a routine basis to ensure updates are maintained in a timely manner. Maintain a proficient knowledge of Smartsheet. Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct. Perform other duties as requested. Participation in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program. Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.
Requirements and Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related technical field. Three to Five years' experience in Project Management. Proficient use of Smartsheet. General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive reading as needed. Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks. Employer maintains a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
