Perform various field work duties involved in the production of various plants produce. Plant, transplant, weed, thin, hoe, harvest, maintain, and other required tasks. Sort, wash, pack, prepare crops for storing and shipping. Transport, deliver crops from field to farm and or retail stand. Cut brush and other vegetation in and around fields, buildings, and equipment. Operate, load, maintain, unload trucks, tractors and other farm vehicles, implements and trailers. Will set up, maintain, and operate varied irrigation equipment. Construct and or perform repairs and maintenance on farm worker housing and structures. 30-minute meal break.
Requirements:
- 3 months experience in duties listed
- Lifting requirement 50 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking
- Frequent stooping or bending over
- Repetitive movements
