We are assisting a Retail Store in their search for a Direct Hire Full Charge Bookkeeper in Cranberry Twp, PA.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for the oversight of general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions, generating fiscal reports, maintaining the company's budgets while finding new ways to improve the financial operations of the company. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements, and liaison with outside accountants.
Essential Functions of the Bookkeeper
Posting daily activity in QuickBooks and reconciling with the POS system.
Project daily cash flow needs
Processing payroll thru ADP
Prepare regular management reports
Filing monthly sales tax reports
Prepare budgets and compare to actual
Process lay-aways, store credits, Trade A/R
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Enter credit card transactions
Requirements of the Bookkeeper:
Must have retail availability - open 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday
Solid working knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
Strong organizational skills
Extremely detailed-oriented
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently, prioritize and accomplish tasks with minimal directions
At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience - prior experience with a retail store required
Able to multitask and follow directions
Strong time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Resourceful, efficient, and reliable
Excellent decision-making skills and follow-through
55K plus incentives

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
