Aerotek Order Selector in Cromwell, Connecticut

Must

Haves:

· Proven Attendance Record

· Ability to lift up to 100lbs

· Ability to load trailers

· Proven overnight shift ability

· Hour Flexibility

Currently seeking candidates with our without experience to do lumping. The ideal candidate will be anyone that knows they'll feel comfortable working for a company that compensates on performance. Candidate must be comfortable and capable of being trained and certified on how to use a Pallet Jack. The work will primarily be done in a freezer so candidate needs to be fine in working in a freezer that may be at a -15 degree F. Candidate will organize orders to be loaded onto trailer or off loaded off the trailer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The training is willing to train anyone that is willing to work in a very cold work environment.

Work Environment:

This work will be done in a freezer so candidate must be fine working in freezing conditions. -Each team is between 12-15 selectors and each will have their own picking list. -A thick jacket most likely will be required and a candidate must need to wear long johns or any other type of thermal or warmth because of the cold. Most candidates get accustomed to the freezer and the managers said most people aren't as cold as we think because they're constantly moving around the freezer. Currently seeking lumpers for a distribution center in Central CT. The position will require someone to select items from a Freezer which makes the position more challenging. Must be fine with working in 0-degree temperatures regularly.
