Cuyuna Regional Medical Center * Home Care Nursing Crosby, MN Nursing Part Time Over, 8-hour Day Shift FTE: .8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) Weekend Requirements: Every 4th weekend Posted 07/03/2024 Req # 13272 This position is an internal posting for current CRMC employees to apply beginning at 8:00 am on 7/3 until 4:00 pm on 7/9 POSITION SUMMARY The Licensed Practical Nurse would continually strive to provide the highest quality of care to the home care and hospice patient. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License/Certificates: LPN License to practice in the State of Minnesota. American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Valid MN Driver's License required. Special Skills and Aptitudes: Knowledge and skill to implement nursing theory. Effective interpersonal relation skills, observational and reporting skills. Exemplifies self-direction with good organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients assigned to him/her under the guidance of the case manager. Exercise concerns for the patient's welfare above all else. Remain up to date on new nursing skills, technology and requirements in the changing health care environment. Perform duties in accordance with physician's orders, the Medical Center's policies, methods and techniques, and be cooperating with other departments and Medical Center personnel. Practice and maintain high ethical standards. When requested, participate in in-service programs, education programs, and orientation of new personnel. Provide leadership and promote teamwork. Regularly evaluate ongoing patient needs and problems on all assigned patients. Perform treatments, medication set-up and patient teaching. Maintain accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care. Recognize symptoms, report change in condition of patient to office RN or case manager.
