Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Director to oversee the operation of one of our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children. Responsibilities: Develop and implement high-quality childcare programs that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise childcare staff, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education. Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents. Collaborate with parents to support their child's learning and development and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Manage the budget and financial operations of the childcare facility, including tuition fees, expenses, and fundraising activities. Stay informed about current trends and research in early childhood education and implement best practices in curriculum development and teaching methods. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to childcare programs, staff, and children. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds. Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain). Preferred Skills: Experience with curriculum development and implementation. Familiarity with state licensing regulations for childcare facilities. Leadership training or certifications.
