Equal Opportunity Employer Summary Description Provides support to the BSA/AML Compliance Officer by successfully performing vital functions in Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Compliance area. Responsible for the timely and accurate performance of daily, monthly and quarterly tasks supporting compliance. Essential Functions Review, analyze and modify BSA programming systems, including testing and program changes to support organization's application system Cross trained to perform all BSA tasks and to use BSA E-Filing Primary for completion and submission of CTR's Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives Follow a defined escalation process for potentially suspicious activities - up to SAR filing Write documentation to describe program development, logic, and corrections Assist in program development Provide support to BSA Officer Assist in system validation Resolve more complex problems that cannot be handled in the daily operations area OFAC Checks Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred 5-7 years BSA/Compliance experience preferred BSA Officer Certification Previous management experience preferred Jack Henry core product knowledge preferred Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions Typically the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work Critical Skills / Expertise Comprehensive understanding of the changing BSA regulations and the impact on the financial institution's policies and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills Ability to work well with management, peers, and staff Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills Strong independent decision making skills Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications Advanced technical skills including mathematical abilities with strong attention to detail
