Sony Pictures Entertainment Coordinator, Brand Marketing in Culver City, California

The world’s largest independent studio, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) produces original content for linear networks and digital platforms.

The SPT Marketing Organization at Sony Pictures Television supports the entire lifecycle of our series, from supporting the initial sale with pitch materials, to collaborating with first window network partners on marketing campaigns, to creating and managing marketing assets with Distribution teams.

The Coordinator, Brand Marketing will work alongside the Brand Marketing team to assist/support the lifecycle of assigned TV brands (series), interacting with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness, tune-in, and brand exposure. Partnership management and consumer activation is key to driving business results throughout the multi-windowed lifespan of our SPT series.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support VP and Director to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive and elevate SPT series throughout all windows of distribution.

  • Stay on top of all marketing trends and opportunities for SPT.

  • Assist in the daily management of marketing projects and campaigns.

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars for the marketing team.

  • Coordinate logistics for marketing events, including booking venues, arranging travel, and ordering supplies.

  • Serve as a point of contact between the marketing department and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up action items.

  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports for the marketing team.

  • Monitor and report on marketing budget expenditures.

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns by coordinating tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.

  • Ensure the marketing office is well-organized and that all equipment is maintained.

  • Provide additional administrative support as needed to the marketing team.

  • Maintain internal documents and team tracking systems, experience with Airtable is a plus

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in marketing or entertainment

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detailed oriented

  • Creative mindset with ability to layer on strategy

  • Deep understanding and passion for the entertainment, television, and digital industries

  • Collaborative and transparent team-builder with experience working in a matrixed, multicultural, and international organization

  • Ability to analyze and learn from reporting data and insights

  • A lifetime learner constantly pursuing emerging and cross-disciplinary approaches that can enhance the work product delivered to internal and external stakeholders
