Amazon Event Producer, Event Productions in Culver City, California

• Supports Producer team and customers, daily

• Coordinates meetings effectively; provides supporting documentation and aligns stakeholders

• Maintains multiple meetings operations calendars and databases

• Improves efficiencies, and works to optimize standard processes

• Coordinates and improves project-related data and reporting

• Works on defined projects, with straightforward goals

• Able to identify blockers, troubleshoot effectively, and facilitate progress

• Seeks opportunities to help others improve skillsets and knowledge base

Key job responsibilities

Pre-event:

• Assists Producers and customers with planning meetings and walk-throughs

• Event script preparation and distribution

• Coordinates vendor estimates and labor costs

• Coordinates technical resource scheduling for equipment and labor

• Coordinates any necessary technical testing or technical rehearsals

• Able to support media playback and presentation methods

• Clearly communicates with all team members and stakeholders

Event execution:

• Coordination of technical services for assigned events and relevant facility operations

• Optimizes audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainable

• Supports Producer team with occasional show calling and onsite operations

• Dynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complications

Post-event:

• Supports proper strike of event venue

• Assists with post-event reporting

• Assists with any post-event customer needs

Culver City, CA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 1+ years of program or project management experience

  • 2+ years in event or production producing

  • Show Calling Experience

  • Proficiency with livestreaming, audio, video, lighting and staging systems

  • Scheduling and calendaring management

  • Familiar with event billing processes

  • Desire to travel across AMER

Preferred Qualifications

  • Show calling experience, and ability to write a script

  • 25% AMER travel expected to venues and locations

  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems

  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and demonstrated ability to improve processes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite. Optional, SharePoint, Visio, Tableau, ShoFlo

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
