Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Dallas, Texas. This role is deeply involved in the accounting and financial reporting sector, providing a pivotal contribution to our business operations. The Assistant Controller will have a variety of responsibilities, including the management of financial processes and ensuring the compliance of these processes with company policies and US GAAP.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of company financial records, ensuring they adhere to company policies and US GAAP.
• Implement and uphold accounting procedures that align with the company’s financial objectives.
• Manage and streamline the monthly financial close process.
• Provide clear directions to accounting staff and other departments to guarantee compliance and precision.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality reporting and analysis of company operations, on both an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
• Assist in the annual financial audit process.
• Play a key role in managing financial operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize your proficiency in quantitative analysis of financial statements, P& L, and business operations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate your expertise in using Accounting Software Systems, including Oracle, and Concur.
• Apply your skills in process analysis and re-engineering to streamline processes and system requirements
Requirements
• Familiarity with Concur
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skills in Auditing
• Knowledge of Corporate Treasury
• Familiarity with US GAAP
• Proficiency in Oracle
• Experience in Month End Close
• Ability to provide Process Improvement solutions
• Experience in Tax Reporting
• Understanding of Profit and Loss statements
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting
