Job Skills / Requirements
Candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years management experience, convey a highly professional image and attitude towards clientele and employees. Must be able to meet requirements and maintain a current Security Officer License in the State of Texas. Candidate will pass a background investigation to include criminal history, credit history, valid driver’s license, stable work history, personality profile test, and drug screen.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Focus attention on those local issues that impact branch and/or division profitability, customer satisfaction, and contract adherence.
Build strong relationships with clients. These relationships are to be based on trust. Trust will be established through regular contact, communication, and a thorough understanding of the client’s needs, requirements, concerns, priorities and desires, and willingness to exceed all client expectations.
Respond personally and promptly to all perceived clients perceived problems or deficiencies, and see that appropriate corrective action is taken and the issue(s) is/are resolved to the client’s satisfaction.
Available and accessible to clients and employees always to address critical issues as they arise.
Assist Personnel with recruitment of qualified personnel.
Keep the Branch Manager and Vice President well-informed of all Dallas office related activities, issues, and concerns.
Operates in compliance with established corporate operating policies, procedures, requirements, and commitments.
Ensure adherence to individual contract specifications and stipulations. Recommend to the client enhancements to the security program and operation (verbally and written communication).
Through knowledge and understanding of post specifications, post orders, instructions, patrol areas, emergency procedures, staffing requirements/priorities, client policies and procedures, and any other information necessary for the effective and efficient operation.
Minimize turnover and maintain the required number of security officer’s necessary to meet contractual requirements.
Provide direct management and supervision over managers, supervisors, and security officers assigned ensuring assigned personnel are properly licensed, posted, trained, meet uniform and grooming standards, meet licensing requirements, and are in compliance with established Client and United Protective policies and procedures.
Train Managers, supervisors, and security officers on their assigned duties, responsibilities, and provide periodic updates on policies/procedures/techniques.
Routinely visit/inspect supervisors and security officers assigned to Dallas accounts, review their reports, provide training/guidance, ensure contract specifications and United Protective policies/procedures/directives are in compliance at all times, evaluate level of Security Officers proficiency at his/her assigned post, assist when necessary, and initiate corrective action as required.
Review submitted reports or write reports on all incidents, security breaches, accidents, and disciplinary matters.
Engage in follow-up tracking of client complaints or requests by the Client.
Review and revise methods of operation and procedures that will enhance Client Satisfaction/Customer Service.
Use effective disciplinary measures and techniques to correct Managers/Supervisors/Security Officers infractions of either client of United Protective policies or procedures. Ensure complete and concise documentation is maintained at all matters of disciplinary action. A complete copy of all incidents and actions should be placed in personnel files.
Interview potential candidates (internal and external) for hire to determine if they meet the established requirements of United Protective. All recommendations for terminations or transfer among divisions will be forwarded in writing, with complete justification to Branch Manager and Vice President.
Through knowledge and understanding of Sexual Harassment, Equal Opportunity, and Workmen’s Compensation Laws and Regulations.
Familiar with counseling techniques and conflict resolution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE
· Must possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field or possess equivalent experience through past employment or military service.
· Minimum of two to four years’ management experience.
APPEARANCE/ATTITUDE
· Properly wear and maintain professional business attire.
· Comply with United Protective’s policy dealing with grooming standards.
· Convey a highly professional image and attitude to all clients and fellow employees.
· Act as a role model for personnel under your supervision.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to meet requirements and maintain a current Security Officer License.
· Must pass a background investigation to include criminal history, valid driver’s license, stable work history, and drug/alcohol test.
· Must attend and pass Security Officer’s training, as related to licensing requirements, when scheduled realizing failure to do so could result in not being able to work, suspension, or termination.
· Must have reliable automobile.
