The National Accounts Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support customer relations, projects, and other initiatives of the National Accounts sales operation’s function. This role will be responsible for ensuring positive business relationships by organizing effective and efficient communication between the National Accounts sales teams, customers, and other cross-functional departments functions.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

  • Primary contact for our Commercial National Account clients regarding inventory needs for current and future business, strategy to support potential new national account clients.

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic plans specifically for managing and growing relationships with National Accounts.

  • Continuously improve forecasting techniques and methods.

  • Prepare and analyze sales, inventory, and account reports to assist leadership with account decisions.

  • Prepare sales, inventory, and open orders reports used by National Accounts sales teams.

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Supply Chain, transportation, marketing, production plants, and customer service to resolve issues including, supply chain constraints, inventory outages, delivery delays, etc.

  • Work with the National Account sales team to communicate account expectations, specifications, inventory needs, etc.

  • Analyze construction schedules, inventory, and sales to update the Service Butler with accurate customer information.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in SAP preferred.

  • Experienced in DOMO preferred.

  • Experience in sales support preferred.

  • Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

  • Shows initiative and drive to achieve goals without needing constant supervision.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
