Pharmacy Technician - Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas

Description:
This position can be a pharm tech trainee or a certified pharm tech. Pay is $20-21/hr but when they go perm it will drop to $19-20/hr. It is a contract to hire. They are paying hire during the contract period of 4-5 months
shift : M-F 9-6p/ 10-7p CST
Day to day:
Processing live insurance claims
Making outbound and inbound from insurances, clinics , doctor staff , patients and caregivers
Helping with copay assistance
There are set phone times either a full day , set hours , or every other day for the phone work
Phone work will be inbound 15-20%, outbound 20%-30% and the rest of the time they will be processing , filling out prior authorization and investigating insurances
Performance Metrics: efficiency and there is no goal yet they are working on it. Quality monitoring is big (actually monitoring phone calls) making sure meaningful follow up occurred, biggest expectations completed of patients assigned (20-25 a day they need to complete) if not then are you following up
