- This position is responsible for accounts receivable and customer relations for AA Cargo domestic Customer accounts.
What you'll do
Reconciliation of Cargo Customer Credit Accounts
Assist Cargo Credit Customers with all types of billing, rating and settlement questions
Research and resolution of billing discrepancies for customers
Interfacing with customer to obtain required documentation for billing/discrepancy audit and correct application of customer payments
Maintain receivable aging within established targets
Work with customer to secure payment for past due items
Heavy phone, email and verbal contact with credit customers, AA Sales, AA Revenue Management, AA Operations, AA cargo facilities and 3rd party vendors/partners
Ad Hoc project as assigned
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Accounting degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred
Ability to multi-task
Strong Mathematical, problem solving, and analytical skills are required
Previous credit experience is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and management
Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, and iCargo preferred

- Experience with Excel
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to work intuitively and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customers
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of Accounting principles, conceptual and analytical skills, and excellent problem solving ability.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word) are required
Knowledge of SABRE and other commercial systems are a plus
