Description
Senior Accountant needed for Dallas client in contract-to-hire role. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Annual salary upon conversion to fulltime employment is $80-90K. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX 75231.
Senior Accountant (contract-to-hire) will perform a variety of accounting functions including, but not limited to:
• Assist with accounting and integration related to recent terminal acquisitions, including IFRS to GAAP analysis, purchase price accounting, and financial and system integration activities
• Assist with financial analysis of midstream terminal locations, including inventory, margin and operating expenses
• Work with internal and external customers to research accounting variances, disputes and complex transactions
• Prepare / Approve journal entries to adjust general ledger accounts as needed
• Prepare / Approve account reconciliations, understand and explain reconciling items
• Proactively identify process improvement or automation opportunities
• Creatively use Excel and PowerBI to enhance analysis
• Assist with quarterly and annual audit process
• SAP, RightAngle, Salesforce, Alteryx, and PowerBI knowledge is a plus
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting
• 5-10+ years of relevant accounting experience
• SAP, RightAngle, Salesforce, Alteryx, and PowerBI knowledge is a plus
