Description
Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant you will take on a leadership role within our finance department, managing various accounting functions and providing guidance to junior team members. Your extensive experience, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills will contribute significantly to the success of our organization.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform complex general ledger account reconciliations.
Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
Lead and support external audits.
Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is highly preferred.
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience with [specific financial software/tools] is a plus.
